MONTREAL, July 11, 2019 – The BeatMakersFest aims to promote the art of Hip-Hop musical composition and brings to surface the organic hidden talent throughout the region. Now is the time to submit your music to participate in the festival’s live battles.
Steve Pageot, who has worked with artists such as Snoop Dogg and Krayzie Bone, is expected to present a mini-conference at the event to help further engage the community as well as act as a judge. “I’m honored to be a part of this new tradition.” says Pageot, Grammy Award winning producer and spokesperson of the BeatMakersFest. “There’s so much undiscovered talent waiting to be given the chance to prove themselves, so I’m more than happy to lend my support and encouragement.”
This first edition of the BeatMakersFest is produced in collaboration with Trebas Institute. “This event involves our Show and Event Management students as well as many other students from all our programs. We are proud to be part of the BeatMakersFest.” says Dominique Blais, Director of Studies at Trebas Institute in Montreal.
The first ever BeatMakersFest will be held at La Vitrola, located at 4602 Boul St-Laurent in Montreal, on Wednesday, September 4th, 2019 at 7:00 PM EDT.
